Q:too many dicks!
I DON’T BELIEVE YOU
Q:not a enough ladies too many men
Is this about the thing I just reblogged?
Q:Hey! Are you planning to sell those bookmarks? They're so awesome!
Not really ;-;. I’m not organised enough to ship stuff. And thankyou, I’m happy you like them. I’ve posted all those pics so people can just crop them and print them themselves. OTL
Q:Could you explain what clipping masks are for? I've always wondered, but could never get an answer.
This is so strange. I know exactly how it works but I have no idea how to explain it. :/
Basically a mask will ‘mask out’ things you don’t want. If you clip a mask to an image and stick a black gradient over the mask, on the image where the black touches will become transparent and the parts you leave blank or white will be opaque.
Masks can be edited or deleted easily so its often safer to use them for editing than cutting stuff out or using other methods.
You can also make a mask layer and clip an image to it. This way is kinda different since anything black on the mask will cause the image above to show through and anything transparent won’t show the above image.
Q:from where did you learn to draw on sai ?
Sais pretty much like any other drawing software so the general process is the same. ( layers, clipping masks, pen pressure, adjustment layers etc)
I already knew how to use photoshop so all I had to do was adjust to the new interface and figure out a brush setting I liked and that was really all there was to it.
Q:Hi! I really enjoy your art :) Do you think you can post a process of how you do it? That would be very helpful!
Thankyou! I’m really happy to hear that. :D
Well this is a little tricky because I don’t have a specific formula or way of drawing. I just have a few techniques and I’ll apply them depending on what I need for the idea/sketch or depending on the style I’m going for.
I can try put some of the techniques I use together? I’m not sure how else to explain it OTL
